 The Waverly High School Dance Team was awarded $893.86 to purchase two Bose SoundLink Max Portable Speakers. The speakers provide the flexibility to be used together in the large gym for practices and then separated for competition days when the team is assigned to smaller spaces. Their portable design also makes them convenient for travel, including national competitions, as they can be easily transported in carry-on luggage. 

 The Waverly High School Baseball Team was awarded $2,934.99 to purchase a Junior Hack Attack Pitching Machine. The portable pitching machine will make it easier for the team to transport equipment to and from the batting cages at Lawson Park. It will also allow the team to utilize the existing pitching machine for additional defensive drills and field work, maximizing practice time and opportunities for player development. 

 The Waverly High School Boys Soccer Team was awarded $2,199 to purchase a Sports Tutor Pro Trainer Soccer Machine. This equipment will significantly enhance the team’s technical training program and benefit soccer camp participants by providing a consistent, game-like training tool. The machine will help players develop and refine fundamental ball-receiving, control, and touch skills in a variety of training situations. 

 The Waverly High School Boys and Girls Bowling Team was awarded $3,500 to purchase bowling balls. Providing team-owned equipment ensures equitable access for all athletes, including those who may not have the financial means to purchase their own bowling balls. Properly fitted equipment promotes safety, consistency, skill development, and overall competitive performance, allowing all team members to participate and compete with the appropriate equipment.
